Indian Creek Launches Food Pantry

Indian Creek Schools Trafalgar Indiana
The Nineveh-Hensley-Jackson United School Corporation has launched the Brave Pantry – the district’s first food pantry for students, employees and their families.

Until now, the only food assistance students and families receive is through the BackPacks program. Desiring to extend this service to the entire school corporation, Indian Creek Schools decided to provide the food assistance program.

The Brave Pantry is operated entirely by volunteers within the community and Indian Creek Schools. Here is additional information:

Dates

The pantry will be open from 4:30 to 6 p.m. the first Thursday of the month unless it falls on a holiday or a day school is not session. The dates are:

  • September 6
  • October 4
  • November 1
  • December 6
  • January 10
  • February 7

The Brave Pantry is located in Indian Creek High School Room 102. Enter through the main doors and turn right. Room 102 is the first door on the left after the restrooms.
