ICIS to Host STEAM Museum Night on August 23

Indian Creek Intermediate School will host STEAM Museum Family Night as our fall student appreciation event.

Activities run from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Intermediate School Gym, and students and families must register for a specific time.

In order to keep everyone safe and activities accessible, the attendance in the gym throughout the evening hours must be scheduled. If you would like to sign-up to attend, please sign the form below with your name, circle the times that work for your family, and return to your student’s classroom teacher.

STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) education is a nationwide initiative that creates critical thinkers, increases science literacy, and enables the next generation of innovators. It is a synergistic approach to teaching the STEAM disciplines instead of isolating them as separate schools of thought. It is the next logical step in what the STEM initiative began by incorporating art to bring the right-brain into traditional scientific thinking.
