Nineveh-Hensley-United School Corporation has launched a new website to promote the school district, to inform parents and students and to market the district.
IndianCreekSchools.com features pages for each of the district’s four schools, social media channel feeds, staff directories, school board minutes, district policies and photographs.
“We want to tell the story about Indian Creek Schools. This site is an essential part of communication with our students, parents, teachers, staff and the community,” said Dr. Timothy Edsell, Superintendent.
The school district hired Clever Dogs Media of Greenwood, Indiana to develop a marketing plan, update the brand and create a new website. The marketing firm has been working with a group of school administrators, teachers, staff and parents on the project. The updated brand will be unveiled later this fall.
Edsell said today’s school districts need to have a strong visibility online and engage the public in other marketing activities. “We want to promote a sense of pride of our great school district. We also want to encourage parents moving to Johnson County to see Indian Creek Schools as an excellent fit for their child’s education.”
Clever Dogs Media will be working with staff and students at each school to update the content. For example, journalism students at Indian Creek High School will be writing stories for publishing on the website.
