NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Solicitation Documents for Providing NHJ After School Care

The Nineveh-Hensley-Jackson United School Corporation is seeking a profit or not-for-profit organization to contract for an after school care program for Kindergarten through 6th grade. 

This contract will be a one-year agreement.  The program must operate in accordance with all NHJUSC Board Policies and Indiana statutes. 

All interested organizations should copy or create appropriate company policies pertaining to the following list of requirements. 

Interested parties should submit all proposals or bids for this contract with the requirements listed below and must be submitted to the NHJUSC Administration Office, located at 802 S. Indian Creek Drive, Trafalgar, IN 46181, no later than 2:00 p.m. on April 1, 2019. 

An appointed committee will open the bids with the Superintendent of Schools, at 2:00 p.m. on April 1, 2019 at the Administration Office located at 802 S. Indian Creek Drive. 

At the regularly scheduled School Board meeting on April 9, 2019, the awarding of this contract will be on the agenda.  The selected organization will be determined and a contract awarded with the Nineveh-Hensley-Jackson United School Corporation for the 2019-20 school year (1-year contract) or sooner if mutually agreed upon.

Requirements for the Bid Proposal:

  1. Certificate of Insurance/Workman’s Compensation Certificate of Insurance
  2. Adult/Child Ratio as mandated by the State of Indiana
  3. State fees being charged to families
  4. Supplies, snacks, and materials provisions
  5. Student behavior plans and expectations
  6. Written plans for structuring the after school program (i.e. tutoring time, physical fitness activities, etc.)
  7. Confidentiality/Abuse – Statement of Understanding
  8. Health Care & Demographic records
  9. Disaster and Emergency plans
  10. Current employee listing with proper credentials
