TRAFALGAR, Ind. – The Indian Creek High School girls' volleyball team is calling on the community to join their fight against breast cancer at their annual Dig Pink fundraiser. The event, scheduled for Monday, September 19 at JV start time at 6 p.m., aims to raise crucial funds for metastatic breast cancer research.

"This isn't just a volleyball game; it's a chance for our community to make a real difference," said Daisha Holt, head coach of the Indian Creek volleyball team. "Every dollar we raise brings us one step closer to finding better treatments and, ultimately, a cure."

The Dig Pink event promises an evening of excitement and purpose, featuring:

  • A thrilling volleyball match
  • Delicious food and refreshments
  • People will be able to buy raffle tickets for various baskets of your choice filled with local treasures.

All proceeds will benefit the Side-Out Foundation, a pioneering organization dedicated to improving the lives of metastatic breast cancer patients through groundbreaking research and support programs.

"We're challenging everyone in our community to get involved," Coach Holt added. "Whether you attend the game, buy a ticket for an auction item, or make an online donation, your support will make a tangible impact on breast cancer research."

Unable to attend? The team has set up an online donation page at https://giving.side-out.org/campaigns/20612, making it easy for anyone to contribute to this vital cause.

Join the Indian Creek volleyball team in their mission to spike out breast cancer. Together, we can serve up hope for those affected by this disease.
