Schedules Set for Upcoming ISTEP+ Test
January 29, 2021 Author: Indian Creek Schools
All Juniors and a select number of Seniors will be taking the ISTEP+ test required by the State of Indiana in February. Due to Covid-19 and our hybrid schedule, the testing dates have been modified to the dates listed below.
Students are required to be present at school for testing. Students who are 100 percent remote are required to follow the Tuesday/Friday schedule, regardless of the last name. This will allow the district to balance the numbers more evenly.
Students who USUALLY attend on Mondays and Thursdays will test:
Wednesday, February 3
PRACTICE 8:15 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Monday, February 8
Math Part 1
Wednesday, February 10
Math Part 2, 8:15 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Thursday, February 11
ELA Part 1
Tuesday, February 16
ELA Part 2
Students who USUALLY attend on Tuesdays and Fridays and all 100 percent Virtual Students will test;
Wednesday, February 3
PRACTICE 8:15 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Tuesday, February 9
Math Part 1
Wednesday, February 10
Math Part 2, 8:15 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Friday, February 12

Wednesday, February 17

All testers will attend on Wednesday, February 3 and Wednesday, February 10. Although students are virtual learning those days, all testers are required to be on campus to complete testing in the window required by the state.
If a student needs transportation on Wednesdays, please contact Mr. Bill Wallace, Indian Creek High School Assistant Principal by email at bwallace@nhj.k12.in.us or by telephone at 317.878.2116 to arrange for bus pick up while picking up ICES and ICIS students. The bus may not stop on students' route on a “normal” Wednesday unless they contact Mr. Wallace. Students will be allowed to leave after testing on Wednesdays if they have transportation. If they don’t have transportation they will ride the bus in the afternoon.
Lunch will be provided for students who stay the entire day. Email or call Mr. Wallace with that information as well so our cafeteria workers will know how many extra lunches to make.
