High School Students Sought for Trafalgar Youth Committee

Applications are being accepted for the Trafalgar Youth Committee, a community engagement group for high school students.
The committee's mission is ”To connect, empower and engage” young youth throughout our community, by providing opportunities for leadership development, growth, networking and socializing, with a strong focus on making a difference and giving back to the community, and of course having fun!"
Membership is open to all Indian Creek High School students.
Applicants will be contacted for interviews. Interviews will be conducted prior to January 1, 2021. Selections will be made not solely on current academics but also on:
- Interest in participating on the committee
- Willingness to be part of a team that discusses local politics, issues affecting youth
- Commitment to attend a monthly meeting (normally the third Thursday of each month from 6 to 8 p.m. depending on the agenda)
- Willingness to participate in local events and volunteering
For membership, the student must be in good academic standing.
